        Logic   EAX ← sign-extend(AX)

    CWDE converts the signed word in AX to a doubleword in EAX by
    extending the most significant bit (the sign bit) in AX into all
    bits of the high word of EAX.

    CWDE is the 32-bit form of CBW.
