The Local Descriptor Table is pointed to by a selector that is kept in the LDTR. SLDT stores the contents of the LDT register in the 16-bit destination.
Note The operand-size attribute has no effect on the operation of SLDT.
SLDT appears in operating system software; it is not normally used in application programs.
