sleep(EXPR)

     sleep EXPR

     sleep   Causes the script to sleep for EXPR seconds, or for-
             ever  if no EXPR.  May be interrupted by sending the
             process a SIGALARM.  Pretty worthless on MS-DOS,  as
             it just wastes the number of seconds requested.
