seek(FILEHANDLE,POSITION,WHENCE)

             Randomly positions the file pointer for  FILEHANDLE,
             just like the fseek() call of stdio.  FILEHANDLE may
             be an expression whose value gives the name  of  the
             filehandle.  Returns 1 upon success, 0 otherwise.
