rindex(STR,SUBSTR,POSITION)

     rindex(STR,SUBSTR)

             Works just like index except  that  it  returns  the
             position  of  the  LAST occurrence of SUBSTR in STR.
             If  POSITION  is   specified,   returns   the   last
             occurrence at or before that position.
