join(EXPR,LIST)

     join(EXPR,ARRAY)

             Joins the separate strings of LIST or ARRAY  into  a
             single  string with fields separated by the value of
             EXPR, and returns the string.  Example:

             $_ = join(':',
                       $login,$passwd,$uid,$gid,$gcos,$home,$shell);
