you are not a European user of MrDebug nd will have to contact your supplier
for support services or, contact the US distributor.

Note: Registration is required for support services.

The preferred method of contacting Dark Black Software Limited the authors,
is via electronic mail, on the Dark Knight Returns BBS.

The Dark Knight Returns BBS

The authors of MrDebug have their own bulletin board that is accessed by the
authors every few hours. Our bulletin board contains many clipper related
file and message areas of interest to CA-Clipper developers, including
patches, fixes, example code, and experts who read and reply to messages if
you need help.

To access The Dark Knight Returns BBS set your communications software to
2400-21600 baud with No parity, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit.

The Dark Knight Returns BBS: (+44) (0)1480 471465

We offer unlimited support for MrDebug on our BBS. There are no charges for
using our BBS, we only ask that you upload files from time to time that you
think may be of interest to other users.

You can change to the MrDebug Support Files area by using the C command to
list the file areas in the main area of our BBS. Select the number next to
the MrDebug Support area. This should change you to the MrDebug Support
files area where you may download the latest patch, free of charge.

You can browse our message areas using the A command to list and change
message areas or you can save time and an increased phone bill by using an
offline mail reader to read and reply to messages offline. At the main menu,
the MP command will give you access to our .QWK compatible offline mail
reader.

Once you are connected to our BBS, at the Main Menu use the 'M' command to
leave a message to SysOp with your MrDebug serial number - this way we will
know who you are and be able to upgrade you with special privileges.

The Internet

We finally took the plunge and jumped back into the Dark Ages and joined an
Internet provider. If you have an Internet account you can email us for
support on MrDebug at the following address:

MrDebug@darkblak.demon.co.uk

Faxing us - our staff are all capable of reading

Most of our staff have some understanding of reading and writing (few have
yet to suss the art of spelling!). You may fax information through to our
support staff on (+44) (0)1480 471465 - yes it is the same as our BBS -
that's technological breakthroughs for ya!

If you are going to fax us something, please make sure that you explain
everything clearly. If you are faxing a problem through then please explain
the problem, perhaps supply a small sample snippet of code that will help to
reproduce the problem. A link file is always a good thing to send us, as
this helps us to understand what is going on inside your program.

Compuserve

You mail email us from Compuserve by sending electronic mail to
INTERNET:MrDebug@darkblak.demon.co.uk this will enable you to send email to
us via the Internet. This will get a reply from us within 48 hours.

Telephone

As a last resort, you may contact us by telephone. It would also help us out
if you have the following information ready for the ogre on our end of the
telephone line:

1. your MrDebug serial number
2. the MrDebug version number (Shift-Alt-M from within MrDebug)
3. the version of Clipper that you are using (Shift-Alt-M from within
MrDebug)
4. the name of your linker that you are using
5. and some general information about the PC setup

European Users can telephone Technical Support from 10.00am until 4.00pm GMT
(Greenwich Mean Time). Call (+44) (0)1480 403104

It is recommended that you not call in the morning. As we don't employ human
beings in the mornings. The later in the morning that you call, the more
coffee we will have had and the more awake we will be and hence the more
effective we will be at helping you out.
