FlagShip claims to be "NOT a porting tool" but "in fact a full Unix
implemetation of CA-Clipper through version 5.2c." A spokesman goes
on to say that "the fact that C intermediate code exists is useful for
some, but safe to ignore for most users."

Rectial "supports all major Xbase code including Summer '87," (which
seems to imply that it doesn't support CA-Clipper 5.0 code).

"X2c is a Clipper compiler that runs on UNIX and creates a complied C
program from your clipper program."
